Monthly Guild Meeting February 18, 2023

The Catholic Medical Guild of Fort Wayne is open to anyone in healthcare and has started monthly meetings for fellowship, prayer, and discussions.  We will be meeting at St Vincent de Paul the third Saturday of each month following the 8:15 Mass which will be approximately 9:00 am. Most meetings will be in the Spiritual Center Room A.  In 2021 we began a short course called “The Purpose and Meaning of Suffering: a Discussion-Based Course for Health Care Professionals”. This covers Pope John Paul II’s Apostolic letter “Salvifici Doloris–On the Christian Meaning of Human Suffering”.  Basically the course is designed to help health care... Overcoming Sloth: How a life of virtue can redeem your spiritual burnout Mark your calendars and sign up now for the Lenten Retreat!  We are still ironing out a few details, but we will have breakfast and lunch provided with coffee available all morning. White Mass and Banquet 2022

The White Mass with Bishop Rhoades will be on October 18, 2022, at 6:30 pm at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Fort Wayne. All are invited! This is a chance for health care workers and those who support health care workers have a Mass together followed by sharing a meal. The banquet will be at 7:30 pm at St Mary’s Oechtering Hall, which is in St Mary’s main church building.
