The book we are reading together in a monthly meeting, Eternity in the Midst of Time, by Father Wilfrid Stinissen, OCD, focuses on the importance of the moment, of being present to the moment and on theological thoughts on anxiety, worry, stress and multitasking. This is an excellent read for anyone in healthcare and the discussions are very thought-provoking and fun. White Mass 2024

The White Mass in Fort Wayne will be on September 16, 2024, at 6:30 pm at the St. Mother Theodore Guerin Chapel next to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Fort Wayne. All are invited! This is a chance for health care workers and those who support health care workers have a Mass together followed by sharing a meal. Note that the White Mass is a month earlier than usual due to the Synod of Bishops’ Second Plenary Assembly taking place in Rome the month of October. ETERNITY in the Midst of Time New Discussion Book Our next monthly Guild meeting will be on January 20, 2024, AFTER the 8:15 Mass at St Vincent de Paul, Spiritual Center Room C. Use door #3. We will have a sign out pointing directly to the front door. On January 20th we will discuss the Chapters 7-8 from the book: ETERNITY in the Midst of Time by Father Wilfrid Stinissen, OCD. Lenten Retreat 2024 The Eucharist: Medicine for the Soul

Mark your calendars and sign up now for the Fort Wayne Lenten Retreat!  We are still ironing out a few details, but we will have breakfast and lunch provided with coffee available all morning. Father Royce will be speaking and there will be discussion time and Eucharistic Adoration. The morning will start with Mass in the St Vincent de Paul church at 8:15 am.
