The Catholic Medical Guild of Fort Wayne is open to anyone in healthcare and has started monthly meetings for fellowship, prayer, and discussions. We will be meeting at St Vincent de Paul the third Saturday of each month following the 8:15 Mass which will be approximately 9:00 am. Most meetings will be in the Spiritual Center Room A. However the May meeting is in Room B. On May 15 we will be discussing chapters 8- Appendix 2 of Dr. Thomas McGovern’s new book: What Christ Suffered: A Doctor’s Journey Through the Passion. The Catholic Medical Guild Fort Wayne is open to anyone in healthcare and is beginning to organize for 2021. We are hoping to meet monthly at a Fort Wayne Church following a Saturday Mass for fellowship, prayer, and discussion. Our first meeting will be on Saturday, February 20th after the 8:15 am Mass at St Vincent de Paul. We will be in the Spiritual Center, Room A. We will have signs out directing you to the right door. Dear fellow healthcare workers: we have determined that we will have a White Mass this year! Bishop Rhoades will be celebrating the Mass and it will be at the Cathedral as it has been in recent years. We will need to follow the usual pandemic guidelines for this Mass and there will be no meal or speaker afterwards. Hopefully next year will be different. We look forward to meeting together despite the difficulties and we probably have more need to join together to pray than ever before!
