October, 2014 Formation Meeting on Suffering

Our next formation meeting will be at 8:30 a.m. on October 18, 2014, in the Durkin Room in the basement of the Cathedral Center. This building is located behind the Cathedral. The meeting will immediately follow the 8:00 a.m. mass in the MacDougal Chapel. The doors will be unlocked for you and we will have big signs out and signs taped to the door of the Cathedral Center building so you should not have trouble finding the meeting. Second Annual White Mass October 8, 2014

Save the date!  All medical professionals of any kind and their families are invited! The White Mass will be celebrated with Bishop Rhoades at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 8. Afterwards, around 7 p.m., there will be a banquet at St Mary’s Oechtering Hall two blocks away with a talk by keynote speaker Matthew Hanley, M.P.H., a Senior Fellow at the National Catholic Bioethics Center, on Ideological Medicine: Serving Politics, not People. The mass is of course free but you MUST sign up for the banquet so we can order the correct amount of food.  The price is $15 a person.... View Article

Catholic Medical Association Annual Conference

This year’s conference is in Orlando, at the flagship hotel for Universal Studios!  It’s going to be a great conference.  The theme is: Courage in Medicine: Defending and Proclaiming the Faith in the New Evangelization See you there!
